Affiliate link included below - I was a user prior to being an affiliate and continue to use Weel daily.

I'm a little late to the game in terms of ADHD, only just receiving a medical diagnosis earlier this year. I can't say that I knew beforehand or had any clue really, but looking back so many things make sense now. Especially during the years I was in school. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Maybe that's a huge contributor to why I landed in the arts. It was just so easy to drift into a daydream and doodle in the margins of my homework instead of actually doing it.

Weel. I like it, I like it a lot.

Weel was put on my radar back in March (2025) when I was looking for alternatives to Google Calendar. Not that it replaces Google Calendar, if you can sync it to your device, Weel can interface with it.

I'm an Android user but I'm glued to my iPad for work most of the day (any other Procreate girlies out there?), so I gave it a go with my work schedule and it's been my go to since.

πŸ”—β€’Are you also an Android user? Get your name on the wait list!

If I need to access that calendar and my iPad isn't within reach, that same calendar is setup on πŸ”—β€’Home Assistant. This won't be anywhere near the last time I mention Home Assistant on the breadbox so if that's something you're interested in reading/discussing let me know!

Automations go brrrrrrrrrr for ADHD.

How do I find Weel helpful?

  • A quote directly from the app description sums it up pretty well "This circular design makes it easier for people with ADHD or neurodivergent needs to understand and manage their time." ~ and I wholeheartedly agree.

  • 'Folders' (inner and outer rings) allow me to split my personal and work calendars but still have them easily accessible. This is exceptionally helpful to see where those two aspects of my life will overlap and I can plan accordingly.

  • The Month view has simplified circles that help me quickly determine if I have ample breathing room, or if I have an extra slot for a new project.

  • Widget support with a few different options that fit perfectly onto my home screen.

I swapped out my actual calendar for a mock one as I didn't want to display sensitive information. The events shown reflect similar ones on my real schedule, but omit individual/company names.

My wish-list:

Some other notable features include:

  • Event related tasks

  • Multiple alarms that you won't miss

  • Color customization and organization

I don't know if I'll keep up a rating system but I'm giving Weel 4 fresh baked loaves out of 5 greased loaf pans.
